3rd Nathan Hale Performing Arts Festival

Welcome!

The third NHHS Performing Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, November 17th, 2007 from 2:00 PM until 6:30 PM.  

Please note:
 This is a change from the original ending time of 6:00 PM.
We have extended the time to accomodate a student Marimba Ensemble, led by Stephen Golovnin.


We will be celebrating the Performing Arts at Nathan Hale High School with a variety of performances by students, teachers, alumni and friends of Nathan Hale High School. 



The event is free to all, and donations are gratefully accepted, tax deductible to the extent allow by law, and will directly benefit the needs of the Performing Arts Center.

Some of the highlights of this year's schedule  include:

Jim Nolet (Internationally acclaimed Jazz Violinist) with Dave Nolet (Bass) and Brian Flanagan, playing Swing and Brazilian Sambas
The Midnight Ramblers (as featured in the Seattle Times on 9/20/07
Larry Uhlman, Nathan Hale teacher and Folk Singer
Northwest Taiko - Japanese Taiko  Drumming
USA Dance-Seattle Performance Team - Ballroom Dance Demonstration
French Folk Music
Fela - Hip Hop
Nathan Hale Productions "You Can't Stop The Beat" (Hairspray)

And of course performances by our music performance groups, as well as many soloists.  (The full schedule will be posted soon.)
